Dartistry

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 August 2026

Dartistry is a solo darts strategy coaching app published by Burnt & Toast Studios Ltd ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. Dartistry is a one-time paid app: there are no adverts, no in-app purchases, and no account or sign-in.

The short version

Data stored on your device only

Your progress, session history, statistics, achievements and preferences are stored locally on your device (in an on-device database and app storage). This information is not transmitted to us or to any third party. If you uninstall the app, this local data is removed by the operating system.

Analytics

This version of Dartistry collects no usage analytics. No analytics service is built into the app and no usage events are sent anywhere, whether or not the Analytics setting is switched on.

The app carries an Analytics switch in Settings, off by default, reserved for a future release. If we ever do add anonymous, aggregated usage analytics, they will be opt-in, that switch will control them, we will name the provider here first, and we will say so in the release notes.

Crash reporting

We use Sentry to capture crash and error reports (including technical details such as device model, operating-system version, a diagnostic stack trace, and a random identifier generated on your device that is used only to group several reports from the same install) so we can diagnose and fix problems. The identifier is not linked to you, is not shared with anyone else, and is reset if you reinstall. These reports do not include your training content.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules reminders (such as a daily practice nudge) locally on your device. The content of these notifications is generated on the device and is not sent to or through our servers.

Payments

Dartistry is purchased through the Google Play Store. Your payment is handled by Google, not by us; we do not receive or store your payment details. Google's handling of that transaction is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

The mailing list (website only)

The website at dartistry.app has an optional “get told when it gets better” form. This is the only place we ask you for personal information, and it is entirely voluntary – the app itself never asks for an email address, and you can buy and use Dartistry without ever giving us one.

If you submit the form we collect your email address and nothing else. We use it to send occasional updates about the app, no more than about once a month. We do not use it for advertising, we do not profile you, and we never sell or share the list.

There is no third-party mailing company involved. The list is stored in our own database on Cloudflare, who host this website; nobody else receives it. Every email we send will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time by emailing support@dartistry.app. We remove it and confirm by reply.

The form sends only what you type. It sets no cookies, loads no third-party script, and there is no tracking pixel on this site.

Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers named above (Sentry for crash reporting, Google Play for distribution and payment, and Cloudflare, who host this website and the mailing list), and only for the purposes described. We do not sell personal data.

Children

Dartistry is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices and rights, and deleting your data

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, where appropriate, note the change in the app or its store listing.
